Our December conference, the premier instructional materials event in Texas, is the annual conference of the Instructional Materials Coordinators' Association of Texas and includes essential information for instructional materials coordinators, curriculum staff, technology specialists, business office personnel, and warehouse managers.
This conference will provide best practices on topics associated with instructional materials such as warehousing, purchasing, budgeting and more. Additionally, the Texas Education Agency will provide an overview and training on the EMAT ordering system, legislative updates, and the most current information pertaining to State Board of Education decisions.
Registration and sponsorships
Registration will open in mid August 2026.
Sponsorships will be available in mid July 2026.
Registration includes:
- 2026 IMCAT membership dues
- All Scheduled sessions
- Admission to exhibit hall-a great place to connect with companies offering materials and services to the Texas instructional materials community

Frequently Asked Questions
- How can I use my IMTA funds to cover my registration fees for December Conference? The registration fees are reimbursable through the EMAT system as "Professional Development". Learn more here.
- How do i know if I am registered? You will receive a confirmation email when you are registered. This email will serve as your receipt or invoice if you have a balance due.
- I'm paying by check or purchase order. Where do I send my check? Please send your check to the IMCAT offices at 1321 Antoine Drive Houston, TX 77055.
- When are payments due? The deadline for receiving payment is November 25th
- What is the cancellation deadline? Refunds are available until November 25th. No refunds will be available after that date. Please submit your cancellation request to [email protected]. PLEASE NOTE: If you no show to the conference/cancel after this date, you are still responsible for payment since food, printing, etc was already ordered.
- How can I record continuing education credit at the conference? Fill out the form that is available at the conference registration desk.
- Will sessions be recorded for on-demand viewing? No, this is exclusively an in person event.
- What is the hotel booking deadline? The deadline for booking a hotel room at the discounted conference rate will be posted on our event page BOOK YOUR HOTEL
