Our December Conference, the premier instructional materials event in Texas, is the annual conference of the Instructional Materials Coordinators' Association of Texas and includes essential information for instructional materials coordinators, curriculum staff, technology specialists, business office personnel, and warehouse managers.
This conference will provide best practices on topics associated with instructional materials such as warehousing, purchasing, budgeting and more. Additionally, the Texas Education Agency will provide an overview and training on the EMAT ordering system, legislative updates, and the most current information pertaining to State Board of Education decisions.
Registration
Registration opened August 18, 2026. Register and pay/send your PO before pricing goes up to the next tier.
Registration includes:
IMCAT membership dues (or your renewal if you are already a member)
All Scheduled sessions
Admission to exhibit hall-a great place to connect with companies offering materials and services to our community
Breakfast and lunch on Monday; breakfast and lunch on Tuesday, breakfast on Wednesday

Ticket Pricing and Cut off Dates
Member Early Bird Tickets - $395 until Sept 18 at 11:59pm
Member Regular Tickets - $425 until Nov 13 at 11:59pm
Member Late tickets - $475 until registration closes on Nov 30 at 12pm
Non Member Early Bird (includes $90 member dues for 2027) - $485 until Sept 18 at 11:59pm
Non Member Regular (includes $90 member dues for 2027) - $515 until Nov 13 at 11:59pm

Frequently Asked Questions
- How can I use my IMTA funds to cover my registration fees for December Conference? The registration fees are reimbursable through the EMAT system as "Professional Development". Learn more here.
- How do i know if I am registered? You will receive a confirmation email when you are registered. This email will serve as your receipt or invoice if you have a balance due. You can also check in the Members Area of our website. Login and click on VIEW MY ORDERS
- I'm paying by check or purchase order. Where do I send my check? Please send your check to the IMCAT offices at 1321 Antoine Drive Houston, TX 77055.
- When are payments due? The deadline for receiving payment (or your PO number) is November 23rd, 2026.
- What is the cancellation deadline? Refunds are available until November 23rd. No refunds will be available after that date. Please submit your cancellation request to [email protected]. PLEASE NOTE: If you no show to the conference/cancel after this date, you are still responsible for payment since food, printing, etc was already ordered.
- How can I record continuing education credit at the conference? Fill out the form that is available at the conference registration desk. You can also email [email protected] after the conference.
- Will sessions be recorded for on-demand viewing? No, this is exclusively an in person event.
- What is the hotel booking deadline? The deadline for booking a hotel room at the discounted conference rate will be posted on our event page under BOOK YOUR HOTEL
- How can I share that I'm attending the conference via social media? Share that you're attending on social media using the hashtag #imcat2026
